we have the equation

y-2=4(x-7)

Convert to slope-intercept form

y=mx+b

Isolate the variable y

y-2=4x-28

y=4x-28+2

y=4x-26 -------> equation in slope-intercept form

Convert to function notation

f(x)=4x-26
