SOLUTION:

Pizza - 26

Spaghetti - 8

Fajitas - 16

Let's begin to examine all the options one after the other;

(i) The student's favorite meal is twice as likely to be fajitas than spaghetti

Fajitas is 16 and Spaghetti is 8 since 16 is twice of 8 so it is true

(ii) The student's favorite meal is more likely to be fajitas than pizza

Fajitas is 16 and Pizza is 26, since Pizza (26) is more than Fijitas (16) so this is false.

(iii) The student's favorite meal is half as likely to be pizza than spaghetti

Pizza is 26 and spaghetti 8, since 26 is not half of 8, so this is also false.

(iv) The student's favorite meal is twice as likely to be spaghetti than pizza

Spaghetti is 8 and Pizza is 26 since 8 is not twice of 26, so this statement is also false.

CONCLUSION:

The first statement is the only true one among the four statements.
