we have that

x -----> number of tickets sold

y ----> profit

Remember that

the y-intercept is the value of y, when the value of x is zero

in this context

the y-intercept is the profit when the number of tickets sold is zero (initial value of profit)

Looking at the graph

the y-intercept is $-700

therefore

the answer is option C
