SOLUTION:

Step 1:

To find the probability of picking a vowel from G, B, E and A.

A and E are the vowels here,

P\text{ (vowel) Tile : }(2)/(4)\text{ = }(1)/(2)

Step 2:

To find the probability that the spinner showed a vowel from A, B and C.

A is the only vowel here,

P\text{ (vowel) Spinner: }(1)/(3)

Step 3:

To find the probability that both will be a vowel:

\begin{gathered} P\text{ (vowel) Tile X P (vowel) spinner} \\ (1)/(2)\text{ x }(1)/(3) \\ \\ (1)/(6) \end{gathered}

CONCLUSION:

The probability that both will be a vowel is 1/6
