x₁ = 4

y₁ = 9

x₂ = 6

y₂=-5

We will use the slope formula below;

\text{slope =}(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

substitute the values into the formula

\text{slope =}(-5-9)/(6-4)

=(-14)/(2)

=-7
