The sum of the internal angles of any triangle is equal to 180, therefore :

A + B + C = 180

61 + B + 30 = 180

Solving for B:

B = 180 - 30 - 61 = 89

Using law of sines:

BC/sin(61) = 8/sin(89)

Solving for BC:

BC = (8*sin(61))/sin(89) = 6.99802349 ≈ 7
