Given data:

The given right angle triangle.

The value of x is,

\begin{gathered} \cos (60^(\circ))=(x)/(6) \\ x=6\cos (60^(\circ)) \\ =3 \end{gathered}

The value of y is,

\begin{gathered} \sin (60^(\circ))=(y)/(6) \\ y=6\sin (60^(\circ)) \\ =3\sqrt[]{3} \end{gathered}

Thus, the value of x is 3 and the value of y iis 3(3)^1/2 .
