mean for the given sets can be calculated as,

\begin{gathered} setI=(-9-7+0+4)/(4) \\ =(-16+4)/(4) \\ =(-12)/(4) \\ =-3 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{set ii =}(-7-4+6+5)/(4) \\ =(-11+11)/(4) \\ =0 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{ set iii =}(1+0.1+0.05+0.05)/(4) \\ =(1.2)/(4) \\ =0.3 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{ set iv = }(0+5+15+2)/(4) \\ =(22)/(4) \\ =5.5 \end{gathered}
