How do i solve thiss pls explain. Radius of circle is 3. Find area and diameter of-example-1

Given:

The radius of the circle, r=3.

Hence, the diameter of the circle is,


\begin{gathered} D=2r \\ =2*3 \\ =6 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the diameter of the circle is 6.

Now, the area of the circle can be calculated as,


\begin{gathered} A=\pi r^2 \\ =\pi*3^2 \\ =\pi*9 \\ =9\pi \\ =9*(22)/(7) \\ =28.28 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the area of the circle is 9π or 28.28.
