1) Chemical equilibrium. When a system is at equilibrium the forward reaction is equal to the reverse reaction. There are some variables that can disrupt the equilibrium such as temperature, volume, pressure, and concentration. Le Chatelier's principle states that if a dynamic equilibrium is disrupted by a changing condition, the position of the equilibrium shift to counteract the change.
