and whose addition is 4

They are a = -0.45 b= 4.5

because

(-0.45) x 4.5 = -2

And

-0.45 + 4.5 = 4

Then

a•b= -2

a+b= 4

And factoring of equation gives

( x - 0.45)• (x + 4.5) = 0
