Here, we want to get the number of ways the 10 books can be arranged

This is a permutation problem

To arrange r out of n items, we can have that done in the following way;


^nP_r\text{ = }(n!)/((n-r)!)

So, with this we have the number of ways as;


^(10)P_(10)\text{ = }(10!)/((10-0)!)\text{ = 3,628,800 ways}
