Given

- 2x + y = 4 (1)

10x + 2y = -6 (2)

Answer

-2/10 = -1/5

1/2

4/6 = 2/ 3

System has one solution

Multiply eq 1 by 5

-10x+5y=20

10x+2y=-6

Adding

7y =14

y=14/7 = 2

Put in eq 1

-2x+ 2 =4

-2x = 2

x= -1, y=2
