Given

The length of a rectangle is twice its width. The perimeter is 54 meters.

Answer

Let width be x

Length = 2x

Perimeter = 2 (l+b)

54 = 2 (2x + x)

27 = 3x

x= 27/3 = 9

width = 9

length = 2 (9) = 18
