We know that 22 gallons gives us 440 miles, to determine how many miles we can drive with 56 gallons we can use a rule of three:

\begin{gathered} 22\rightarrow440 \\ 56\rightarrow x \end{gathered}

Then we have:

x=(56\cdot440)/(22)=(24640)/(22)=1120

Therefore, it can drive 1120 miles on 56 gallons.
