We are given an angle whose bisection render two angles: one of measure 3 x + 10, and the other one 2 x + 5

We know that a bisector divides the original angle in two equal parts. Therefore the two given angles must be equal. We set the following equation:

3 x + 10 = 2 x + 5

and solve for x

3 x - 2 x = 5 - 10

x = - 5

Therefore the variable "x" is -5 (negative five)
