The given equations are,


\begin{gathered} 7x-6y=-53 \\ 2x-3y=-13 \end{gathered}

So from the first equation,


\begin{gathered} 7x=-53+6y \\ x=(-53+6y)/(7) \end{gathered}

Substitute for x in second equation,
