From the graph,

a)

The input for the function is the x coordinates of the function.

So, the inputs for the function is,

\begin{gathered} 0,1,2,3,4,5,\ldots.\infty \\ (or) \\ \lbrack0,\infty) \end{gathered}

b)

The output for the funtion is the y coordinates of the function.

So, the outputs for the function is,

2.5,\text{ 4.5, 6.5, 8.5, }\ldots\ldots

c)To find the rate of change of function:

Let us take the any two points in the graph

So, (0, 2.5) and (1, 4.5).

We know that, the rate of change of function is the slope of the function.

Hence,

\begin{gathered} m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ =(4.5-2.5)/(1-0) \\ =2 \end{gathered}

Thus, the rate of change of function is 2.
