We can take the two ordered pairs (2,3) and (4,4) to find the slope of the linear equation:

m=(4-3)/(4-2)=(1)/(2)

then, we can use the point (4,4) to find the equation in slope intercept form:

\begin{gathered} y-4=(1)/(2)(x-4)=(1)/(2)x-(4)/(2)=(1)/(2)x-2 \\ \Rightarrow y=(1)/(2)x-2+4=(1)/(2)x+2 \\ y=(1)/(2)x+2 \\ \end{gathered}

we have that the equation is y = 1/2 x +2. This means that for each order that comes to the warehouse, the number of orders that go out the warehouse will be half that number plus two.
