Express 9 2/3 as an improper fraction.

improper fractions just have two terms : numerator/ denominator

as 9 2/3 has three , we need to convert to

that is doing multiplying and dividing by 3

That means (3/3) •9 + 2/3

this is do in order to compare the two numbers , the integer 9 and the fraction 2/3

so then multiplying (3/3)•9 = 27/3 now add 2/3 , and the result is

29/3
