We can use the Pythagoras Theorem:


\begin{gathered} 8^2+7^2=hypotenusa^2 \\ \text{hypotenusa}=\sqrt[\square]{8^2+7^2}=\sqrt[]{64+49}=\sqrt[]{113}\approx10.63 \end{gathered}

The hypotenuse is 10.63
