Remember that

If x and y are complementary angles

x+y=90 degrees

then

sin x =cos y

In this problem

y=46 degrees

x =44 degrees

so

46+44=90 degrees

44 and 46 are complementary angles

that means

sin44=cos 46=2/3

therefore

The answer is the last option
