hypotenuse² = leg 1 ² + leg 2 ²

2) In this case, we can write out:

c² = 6² +4² The hypotenuse is opposite to the right angle

c² = 36 +16

√c² = √52

c =√52 or 2√13

c ≈7.2 Rounding off to the nearest tenth
