We need to find a percent error.

First find the difference between the exact value and the estimate

132 -127 = 5

Now divide by the exact value

5/132 =.0378787878.....

We then need to change it to a percent by multiplying by 100

3.78787878 %

Round to the nearest tenth, which is the first decimal place.

We look at the first number after the decimal and round up since the next number is an 8

3.8 % error

The final answer is 3.8% error
