ANSWER:

Explanation:

We must divide the figure in two, first in a cylinder and in a hemisphere

The formula for the volume of the cylinder is as follows

V_c=\pi\cdot r^2\cdot h

where r is the radius and h is the height

the radius equals half the diameter (11), therefore

r=(d)/(2)=(11)/(2)=5.5

replacing we have

\begin{gathered} V_c=3.14\cdot5.5^2\cdot16 \\ V_c=1519.76 \end{gathered}

Now, the formula for the volume of a hemisphere is the following:

V_h=((4)/(3)\cdot\pi\cdot r^3)/(2)=(4)/(6)\cdot\pi\cdot r^3

replacing:

\begin{gathered} V_h=(4)/(6)\cdot\pi\cdot r^3 \\ V_h=(4)/(6)\cdot3.14\cdot5.5^3 \\ V_h=348.28 \end{gathered}

Now the volume of the figure would be the sum of both figures, just like that
