How do form and function work in cells?

Form and function are interrelated even in cells. We have what we call "specialized cells" that perform many diverse functions. For example in a human body, we have neurons (brain cells), skin cells, blood cells, and bone cells. These cells are different from each other because their structure depends on the functions they perform.
