We are told that a function is created to represent the amount of money in your checking account. We are asked to find what restrictions will represent the range. To find the range we will use the steps below;

Step 1: Define Range.

A Range of a function is defined as the set of all the output values of the function. If a function is created to represent the amount of money in your checking account then the range will represent the possible amount of money you can have in the account.

Step 2: Derive the possible outputs

The output of this function can be positive, negative, or zero.

1) If you draw more amount than you have in your account, your account becomes negative

2) If you have zero balance in your account, then the function would have the value zero.

3) If you have some money in your account, then the function would be positive.

Since a checking balance also consist of negative numbers, the range would include all real numbers

Answer: Option A
