which ordered pair is a solution to this equation? 2x+3y=16

we know that

If a ordered pair is a solution of the equation, then the ordered pair musr satisfy the equation

Verify each ordered pair

1) (3,2)

x=3, y=2

substitute in teh given equation

2(3)+3(2)=16

6+6=16 ------> is not true

that means -----> is not a solution

2) (7,2)

2(7)+3(2)=16

14+6=16 ------> is not true

Is not a solution

3) (11,1)

2(11)+3(1)=16

22+3=16 ----> is not true

Its not a solution

4) (5,2)

2(5)+3(2)=16

10+6=16 -----> is true

Its a solution

the solution is the ordered pair (5,2)
