Given the equation:

(5)/(9)(f-32)=25

to solve for 'f', first we have to move the 5/9 to the other side of the equation. Since it's multiplying the factor (f-32), it will pass to the other side dividing 25:

\begin{gathered} (5)/(9)(f-32)=25 \\ \Rightarrow f-32=(25)/((5)/(9))=45 \\ \Rightarrow f-32=45 \end{gathered}

next we move the 32 to the right side of the equation. Since it's substracting, we move it to the other side adding to get the following:

\begin{gathered} f-32=45 \\ \Rightarrow f=45+32=77 \\ f=77 \end{gathered}

therefore, f=77
