As the number of the cups of sugar increases so does the number of cookies

Recall that one dozen is 12 hence 2 dozens is 24

If 1 1/3 cups of sugar is required for every 2 dozen cookies then 8 dozens will require

= 8/2 * 1 1/3

= 4 * 4/3

= 16/3

= 5 1/3 cups
