You have the following equation:

y = (3/2)x - 1

In order to graph the previous equation, you can cross a line troug the x and y intercepts.

the x intercept is:

y = 0 = (3/2)x - 1

(3/2)x = 1

x = 2/3

the y intercept is:

y = (3/2)(0) - 1

y = -1

Then, the points you can connet with a line are:

(2/3 , 0)

(0 , -1)
