AB=90 miles, AC=18 miles

According to pythagoreous theorem:

\begin{gathered} BC^2=AB^2+AC^2 \\ BC^2=(90)^2+(18)^2 \\ BC^2=8100+324 \\ BC^2=8424 \\ BC=91.78\text{ miles} \end{gathered}

Town A is 90 miles from Town B, and 18 miles from Town C. Town A, B, and C are forming-example-1
