A metal wire is shaped in the form of a rectangle. The length of the rectangle is 7 cm and the breadth of the rectangle is 4 cm. The same wire is then formed into a circle. Find the area of the circle. (π≈ 22/7)

Answer: 38.5 cm^2

Explanation:

Length of wire = 7*2 + 4*2 = 22 cm

Radius of Circle = 22/(2pi) = 3.5 cm

Area of Circle = (3.5)^2*pi = 38.5 cm^2
