First, we need to find the coordinates of the points

U(-4, 4) V( -4, -5) W(5, -5) X(5, 4)

Next, we will find the distance, UV and VW

Using the distance formula

|d|=\sqrt[]{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

U(-4, 4) V( -4, -5)

x₁= -4 y₁=4

x₂=-4 y₂=-5

substitute the values into the formula

|UV|=\sqrt[]{(-4+4)^2+(-5-4)^2}
=9

V( -4, -5) W(5, -5)

x₁= -4 y₁=-5

x₂=5 y₂=-5

substitute the values into the formula

|VW|=\sqrt[]{(5+4)^2+(-5+5)^2}
=9

Area = l x w = 9 x 9 = 81 units²

Perimeter = 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 36 units
