hope uses the equation C = 3h + 9, C in dollars, of renting a bike for h hours. If does not spend more than $30, what is the maximum number of hours she can rent the bike

The equation for renting a bike for h number of hours is shown as;


\begin{gathered} C=3h+9 \\ \text{Where C is the total cost, h is the number of hours paid for bike rental} \end{gathered}

If however Hope does not want to spend more than 30 dollars, that is her C in the equation must be 30 or less, then the equation would change to the following;
