Question 20

We have the given triangle

To get x, we will use the trigonometric relation

\cos \theta=\frac{\text{adjacent}}{\text{hypotenuse}}

Thus, we will have

\cos 71^0=(x)/(20)

To get x, we will cross multiply

\begin{gathered} x=20\cos 71^0 \\ x=6.511 \end{gathered}

The value of x is 6.51
