what is the volume of a right triangular pyramid with base is 3 m on each side and whose altitude is 4 m

The volume of a pyramid is:


V=(1)/(3)Bh

where B is the area of the base and h is the height.

In this case we have that:


B=3\cdot3=9

Then:


V=(1)/(3)(9)(4)=12

Therefore the volume is 12 cubic meter.
