First you have to calculate the missing angle from the triangle AHI.

To do so you have to remember that the sum of all internal angles of a triengle equals 180º

m∠HAI+m∠AHI+m∠AIH=180º

59º+61º+m∠AIH=180º

m∠AIH=180º-59º-61º

m∠AIH=60º

Next, angles m∠AIH and m∠AKJ are corresponding angles, this means that both angles are congruent (equal), so

m∠AIH=m∠AKJ → replace

60º=xº
