A circle has a radius of 8 cm. Find the length s of the arc intercepted by a central angle of radians 5/ 6 pi . Do not round any intermediate computations, and round your answer to the nearest tenth.

Arc lenght:

s = r Θ

where:

s= arc length

r= radius

Θ = angle in radians

Replacing:

s = 8 ( 5/6 π)

s = 20.9 cm
