x^2+y^2=r^2

The circle is not at the origin, the center is at (-9,0) and has a radius of 8, then...

(x-(-9))^2+(y-0)^2\text{ =}8^2

Simplification:

\begin{gathered} (x^{}+9)^2+y^2=8^2 \\ \\ \end{gathered}

Write the standard form of the equation of the circle with its center at (-9,0), and-example-1
