Answer:

To find three consecutive even integers

Given that,

Sum of the least integer and the middle integer is 38 more than the greatest integer.

Let the three consecutive even integers are, a,a+2,a+4

we get,

a+a+2=38+a+4
2a+2=42+a
2a-a=42-2
a=40

Three consecutive even integers are 40,42 and 44
