Please help :( How are the steps of cellular respiration different when it is anaerobic respiration?

Answer:

Cellular respiration happens in the presence of oxygen while anaerobic respiration does not. Anaerobic respiration produces less ATP than cellular respiration and also produces a lactic acid which burns the muscles whilst cellular respiration produces carbon dioxide, water, and a greater amount of ATP.
