Please help me solve the following problem:A pizza place needs to make paper bases to place and sell slices of pizza. The whole pizzas from which the slices will be cut have 50 cm diameter and the slices will be made according to 3 axes os symmetry making equal angles among them.Which is the area of each paper base ?

First, draw a diagram of the pizza showing the three axes of symmetry:

Notice that the pizza is being cut in 6 equal parts. Then, the area of each slice, which is the same as the area of each paper base, is 1/6 of the total area of the pizza.

Since the diameter of the pizza is 50cm, then its radius is 25cm. The area of a circle with radius r is:

A=\pi r^2

Replace r=25 to find the area in square centimeters. Next, divide by 6 to find the area of each paper base:

A=\pi(25)^2=625\pi\approx1963.5

Then, the area of each paper base is:

A_(paper)=(1963.5)/(6)=327.25

Therefore, the area of each paper base is approximately 327 square centimeters.
