Greg walk home from the store at a slower rate than he walked to the store; Option C

Here, we want to select the statement that is true from the plot

Let us consider the statements one after the other;

The straight flat point on the graph shows the time spent at the store

Mathematically, we know that;

speed = distance/time

A) Let us get the speeds at which he walked to the store and the speeds at which he walks away from the store

Walking to the store ; he walked a distance of 2750 in 15 minutes

The speed/rate would be 183.33

Walking back home he walked same distance in 20 seconds

Rate here is 2750/20 = 137.5

This means that he walked to the store at a faster rate and this option is wrong

B) From our calculations above, we can see that the difference is not the same and as such this option cannot be correct

C) This is correct

The rate at which he walked to the store is faster than the rate he walked from the store

D) This is wrong

He was at the store for 25 minutes

We can see this from the distance on the flat part which is same as the number of minutes he spent at the store
