An example of real-life use of a function is in the working system of;

Here, we can make the function (f) the ATM, The dispensed cash (output) must be equal to the amount of money requested (input).
The input (x) is the requested amount you typed in.
The output (y) is the dispensed cash after processing the input.
For example, typing $100 (input) into the machine will dispense $100 (output);
