Note that if the roots of a quadratic function given as x = a and x = b,

the quadratic expression is (x - a)(x - b)

From the problem, the roots are x = -8 and x = 4

therefore the quadratic expression will be :

\lbrack x-(-8)\rbrack\lbrack x-4\rbrack=(x+8)(x-4)

The answer is B.
