Slightly acidic

Procedure

Remember that pH is an indicator used to determine how acid or basic a substance is. The formula is

pH = - log [H3O+]

Substituting values

pH=-log[1.2 x 10⁻⁷] = 6.92

On the pH scale, 7 is the neutral value and 6.92 will be considered slightly acidic.
