Opposite side = 12

Adjacent side = 35

The Pythagorean theorem consists of a formula a^2+b^2=c^2 which is used to figure out the value of (mostly) the hypotenuse in a right triangle.


\begin{gathered} c=\sqrt[]{35^2+12^2} \\ c=37 \end{gathered}

Hypothenuse = 37


(OS)/(AS)=(12)/(35)
(OS)/(H)=(12)/(37)
