For the function f(x) , the two values are gvien .

f(-3)=0,\text{ f}(3)=-2

For determine the function f(x).

First find the slope of the equation.

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)
m=(-2-0)/(3-(-3))
m=(-2)/(6)
m=(-1)/(3)

The equation of the line is

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Substitute the values in the equation.

y-(0)=(-1)/(3)(x-(-3))
y=(-1)/(3)(x+3)
y=(-x)/(3)-1

Thus the fucntion f(x) =y is formed which is defined as

y=(-x)/(3)-1
