Answer : y = 9x - 2

The given point is (1,7)

Let x1 = 1 and y1 = 7

Slope = 9

The slope intercept form of equation is y = mx + b

Where m = slope and b = intercept

For a given point we have

(y - y1) = m(x - x1)

(y - 7) = 9(x - 1)

Open the parentheses

y - 7 = 9x - 9

y = 9x - 9 + 7

y = 9x - 2

The slope - intercept form is y = 9x - 2
